New York — Performing Arts

Duration
7 days · 5 nights
Shows
2 Broadway or off-Broadway
Workshop
Broadway workshop
Backstage
3 venue tours
Ideal for
Drama, music & dance groups

Students spend five nights in the world's theatre capital, moving between practical workshop time, backstage tours of landmark venues and the shows themselves. Evenings are as much a part of the learning as the days: live music in Greenwich Village, jazz in Harlem and the famously honest audience at Amateur Night.

We travel by subway wherever it makes sense, so students see how New Yorkers live and get a feel for the city's neighbourhoods, from Midtown to Brooklyn and Harlem.

• Backstage tours of Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center and the Apollo Theater
